We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Northampton team in the position of Channel Marketing Executive on a Fixed Term Contract.

The role will support the execution and management of marketing programs across all key sales channels.This includes supporting the creation and execution of marketing plans to grow and support sales.The person will be expected to have experience of working with the latest digital tools and techniques, as well as more traditional marketing methodologies.

The role will support the channel manager(s) in deployment and implementation of marketing activities ensuring integration between on and offline events, campaigns and exhibitions.

The channel marketing executive will work to maximise the return on our products, supporting the channel manager, commercial team and customers.

Your duties would include but not limited to the following;

  • Close Liaison with Commercial, NPD, Marketing and Strategy teams to execute the go to market solutions for our offer as defined by channel management.
  • Deliver marketing initiatives in alignment with budget and timeframe.
  • Ensure metrics from campaigns/events are established and reported
  • Continually monitor market to identify and suggest new opportunities to drive portfolio
  • Plan and manage the execution of events in association with relevant sales management
  • Own the development of sales enablement tools such as product presentations
  • Develop compelling case studies for key projects with agencies as required
  • Continually liaise with our industry partners to maximise opportunities e.g. management of our data on customer portals
  • Support in development of training and development programs for customers.

About you;

Experience

  • Minimum 2-3yrs previous experience of working in a B2B marketing team
  • Experience in executing marketing plans
  • Experienced in assisting preparation of marketing plans
  • Experience in the building materials sector will be an advantage but not essential

Management/ Leadership Skills

  • Confidence, composure and ability to work at all levels of the business,
  • Naturally inquisitive nature, able to challenge and push initiatives forwards
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
  • Proactive, personable and self-motivated
  • Hands-on IT skills including good presentation writing skills

Travel

  • Dependant on work assignments

Education/Qualification

  • Relevant degree and/or appropriate professional qualification desirable but not essential
